Terms
These terms apply between you and [operator name, address] (“we”) when you use clips: the website, its API and the clip payout program on Solana. You accept them by signing the sign-in message (or the API key challenge) with your wallet; that message names this page and its version (2026-10-20 (draft)), and we keep the signed message as the record. If you do not accept them, do not sign in.
1. What clips is
Brands (“funders”) fund campaigns that pay clippers in USDC per 1,000 views of the clips they post on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X. The money of a campaign sits in a vault of a public program on Solana, not with us. The program pays clippers when our oracle reports views that passed the checks below; the funder does not approve each clip.
While the service runs on the Solana test network (devnet), its USDC is a test token with no value.
2. Your wallet and account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and allowed to use the service there.
- Your wallet is your account. You alone control it and are responsible for what is signed with it. We cannot recover a lost wallet or reverse a transaction.
- API keys act for the wallet that created them. Keep them secret and revoke any you suspect leaked.
3. For clippers
- Connect only social accounts you own or are authorised to use. One social account can belong to one wallet.
- Post clips that follow the campaign’s brief and the platform’s rules, and mark them as advertising where the law or the platform requires it (for example #ad).
- Views count once they have been visible long enough (the hold shown on the dashboard). Part of each payout is sent at once and the rest after a vesting period. How long views wait depends on your history: longer for a new wallet, shorter after clean weeks, with a bond or after verifying as one person. There is no limit on what you earn beyond the campaign’s own (per clip, per day, budget).
- Bought or artificial views, bots, engagement groups and similar tricks are not allowed. If a platform removes views as fake, or a clip stays judged high risk, its unvested money goes back to the campaign (a clawback), and a bond can be moved to the campaign. Repeat offenders are blocked from all campaigns.
- You keep the rights to your clips. You allow the funder and us to show the link to your post, its view counts and your wallet address (shortened) on the campaign page.
4. For brands
- A fee is taken on each deposit, shown before you sign. Clippers receive the advertised rate.
- You may stop a campaign at any time. Clips posted before the end are still paid until the grace period ends; after that you can withdraw what is left.
- You confirm that you have the rights to the material you upload or link in a brief and that clippers may use it to make clips for your campaign.
- Clips that pass the checks are paid without your approval. You can read every rejected submission and clawed-back clip and the clipper’s appeal, and re-accept a rejected submission (see 5). You cannot pay a clip by hand.
5. Automated decisions and appeals
Whether a post is accepted and paid is decided automatically: the connected account, the dates, the campaign’s platforms and audience countries, a check of the brief by an AI model (Anthropic’s Claude), and a fraud score from the post’s numbers. These checks can be wrong. A clipper may appeal a rejected submission or a clawed-back clip once, with a note that the funder sees. The funder may re-accept a rejected submission; it then goes through the checks again, with the funder’s decision in place of the brief check. A clawback is not reversed. [Add any further review or complaint route required by applicable law.]
6. Things you must not do
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or post content that infringes others’ rights, is hateful, sexual involving minors, or deceptive.
- Use several identities or wallets to get around holds or blocks.
- Interfere with the service, the program or other users, or probe them without permission.
7. Blockchain and money
Transactions on Solana are public and final. The program’s code is public; we do not guarantee it is free of errors. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn or spend. We do not give financial, legal or tax advice.
8. Our liability
The service is provided as is. [Limitation of liability, exclusions and the mandatory consumer rights that remain unaffected, to be drafted for the governing law.]
9. Suspension and changes
We may block wallets that break these terms. We may change these terms; a new version is shown here and has to be accepted by signing in again. [Notice period.]
10. Law and contact
[Governing law and courts.] Questions: [contact address]. How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Notice.
